Utilizing a looser-than-typical sock gauge for the leg and instep of the sock while working the heel, sole, and toe of the sock in a durable, sturdy stitch results in fantastically practical socks. The addition of stripes makes them perfect for using up leftover sock yarn or showcasing handpainted yarns.
Socks are worked from the top down. To knit as shown, you'll need one skein of the main color of Springvale Sock, and partial skeins of the coordinating colors (less than half a skein for each as shown). In two sizes, with directions for knee socks and regular height socks.
